LMGC LAUNCHES ANNSEVA: Bringing Smile to Weary Hearts
Beginning on 11th May, 2026, the spirit of compassion and community service comes alive at La Martiniere Girls’ College as the Gandhi Corner Club conducts Annseva, a heartfelt Community Kitchen Drive dedicated to reaching out to those beyond the school gates with care and kindness.
The drive continues till 14th May, carrying forward the message of empathy and humanity.
Students of the Middle and Senior School come together in the true spirit of service as meals are lovingly prepared, packed and distributed to those in need. Visits are being organised to RML Hospital, Kushtashram, Barabirwa and the KGMU Cancer Ward, Slums near Lalbagh and Pratibha Cinema where students share not just food, but also compassion and warmth with children, patients and the elderly.
The grateful smiles, heartfelt blessings and genuine interactions during the drive become its most touching moments, reminding everyone that small acts of kindness can bring comfort and hope to weary hearts.
More than a food distribution initiative, Annseva reflects the school’s deep commitment to community service and social responsibility. It continues to leave behind cherished memories and valuable lessons for the students, who are experiencing the joy of giving and the power of humanity in action.
