Samba Police Seizes Three Dumpers for Illegal Mining

Samba: On May 20, 2026, Samba Police intensified its crackdown on illegal mining activities by seizing three dumpers within the jurisdictions of Police Stations Samba, Ramgarh, and Vijaypur. The vehicles were reportedly used for the unlawful transportation and mining of construction materials.

The operations were led by the SHO of PS Ramgarh, SHO of PS Vijaypur, and the In-charge of Police Post Mansar of PS Samba during their patrolling duties. The seized dumpers bearing registration numbers JK19-9377, JK21G-7799, and JK21G-9285 have been handed over to the Geology & Mining Department Samba for further legal proceedings.
