Kolkata Hosts International Museum Day Exhibition Collaboration

Kolkata: The Indian Museum, in collaboration with Victoria Memorial, Kolkata, celebrated International Museum Day 2026 by showcasing the convergence of art, history, and culture. The event marked the inauguration of the joint exhibition titled "Namami Bharatam: Many Forms, One Truth".

The ceremony was graced by Shri Arijit Bakshi, Hon'ble Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, who performed the lamp lighting and ribbon-cutting. The event was attended by notable figures including Prof. Swapan Kumar Pramanick, Dr. Shatorupa, Shri Alok Kumar Ghosh, Prof. Phalguni Mookhopadhya, and Dr. Sayan Bhattacharya, Director of the Indian Museum and Secretary & Curator of Victoria Memorial Hall.
