Koraput District Holds Joint Grievance Hearing at Borigumma

Borigumma, Koraput district: A joint grievance redressal meeting was conducted at the Borigumma Block Assembly Hall on Sunday. The event was organized by District Magistrate Manoj Satyawan Mahajan and Superintendent of Police Rohit Verma to address public complaints and issues.

During the session, a total of 41 complaints were registered, including 21 individual and 20 collective grievances from groups. In a significant move to support local livelihoods, District Magistrate Mahajan approved a loan of Rs. 1 crore 58 lakh 50 thousand for 28 support groups to enhance self-help initiatives and income generation.

The hearing was attended by several officials, including BDO Sukant Kumar Patnaik, Tehsildar Shobhan Kumar Behera, Block Chairperson Diptimyi Nayak, SDPO Satyabrat Lenka, IIC Ramananda Sahu, and other district and block-level department representatives.
