AMU Faculty Member Invited at ISHR Annual Meeting, AIIMS New Delhi

Aligarh, May 18: Prof Shaad Abqari, Incharge, Division of Pediatric Cardiology, Department of Pediatrics, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, was invited as faculty at the Annual Meeting of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR) held at AIIMS, New Delhi from 810 May 2026.

Prof Abqari delivered an invited talk on "ASD Closure and chaired a scientific session on Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Implantation. He was also a panelist in the discussion on "Curriculum and Examination Pattern in Cardiology in India: Making the Change.

The conference was attended by leading experts from prestigious institutions across India, including AIIMS and IITs, promoting academic exchange on cutting-edge advances in cardiovascular research and intervention.

Prof Abqaris participation highlights JNMC, AMUs continued contribution to national and international platforms in pediatric cardiology and medical education.
