TMC's Falta candidate moves Cal HC seeking protection from coercive action
KOLKATA: (May 18) TMC's Falta candidate Jahangir Khan on Monday moved the Calcutta High Court, seeking protection from any coercive police action, after he claimed that criminal cases were being continuously slapped against him.
Moving the court of Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya and seeking an urgent hearing, Khan's counsel Kishore Dutta prayed for disclosure of all FIRs filed against him, and protection from coercive measures.
Justice Bhattacharyya said he will hear the matter later in the day.
