Nadia Police Arrest Trio Including Mastermind in Toto Theft Ring

Nadia: The Taherpur police have achieved a major breakthrough by arresting three individuals, including the mastermind, involved in a series of toto thefts. Several stolen totos have been recovered during these operations. The police revealed that for a long time, multiple toto thefts had been reported across Taherpur and surrounding areas, but identifying and apprehending the main culprits had been challenging.

A few days ago, local residents in Birnagar caught a youth in the act of stealing a toto and handed him over to the police. Upon interrogation, the youth provided crucial information, leading to further investigations. Following a court appearance in Ranaghat, the accused was sent to police custody. Subsequently, two more members of the gang were arrested in Krishnanagar, with two stolen totos recovered from them. The police suspect the gang has been operating for a long time and may have additional members. Investigations into the gang's modus operandi and the sale of stolen totos are ongoing. The accused were presented again before the Ranaghat court on Sunday at 11:40 AM, with the police seeking custody extension.
