Administrative preparation meeting for Barpali Sital Shasthi Yatra held

The administrative meeting for the 149th Sital Shasthi Yatra of Barpali was held at the local tehsil office. The meeting was chaired by Bargarh Sub Collector Prasanna Pandey and was attended by Yatra Committee Chairman cum MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatia. A detailed discussion was held on how this historic Yatra of Barpali from 15th to 21st of next month would be held with peace and order. Especially, traffic control, drinking water supply, temporary health centers, vehicle parking, uninterrupted power supply, road construction, cleaning of drains, temporary toilets in crowded places including Minabazar and large deployment of traffic police and police in the city to maintain peace and order, etc. were discussed. The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Rukman Meher, Additional Tehsildar Alisha Barla, BDO Sumantra Kumbar, NAC Chairman Dinesh Gahir, NAC Executive Officer Bhuban Satpathi, Police IIC Pramod Sahu, Yatra Committee President Anand Babu, Secretary Jayant Tripathi, committee members, this year's Parvati Wedding Committee President, Secretary , this year's bride's father, Electricity Department, Health Department, Public Health Department, Fire Department and many departmental officers and journalists. The MLA appealed to all departmental officers and the public for their help and cooperation to make this year's Yatra peaceful and more attractive.
