Global Alig: Leading Healthcare & Compassion in Louisiana!!! We are incredibly proud to spotlight Dr. Farha Khan (MD, FACP, MHA), a distinguished physician leader who is making waves in the US healthcare system while carrying the values of Aligarh Muslim University with her.
Currently serving as the Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Associate Professor at LSU Health / Ochsner University Hospital & Clinics in Lafayette, Louisiana, she is shaping the next generation of doctors.
Roots in Aligarh
Dr. Khans journey to excellence began at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), AMU, where she earned her MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine. Her foundation in education was laid at the prestigious La Martiniere Girls College before stepping into the halls of AMU.
Service Beyond Medicine
What sets Dr. Khan apart is her heart for the community. Beyond her clinical excellencerecognized by honors like the Chairmans Award at Lutheran General Hospitalshe is deeply committed to "works of mercy." She actively serves the homeless and vulnerable through Catholic Charities of Acadiana, proving that a true healer cares for society as a whole.
