People of Semelgudia village get relief from fluoride problem

The people of Semelgudia village in Gaisilet block under Bijepur constituency of Bargarh district, who have been suffering from the problem of fluoridated water for a long time, have finally got access to pure drinking water. Emphasizing the long-standing demand of the villagers, Honorable MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatia has fulfilled his promise and installed an RO water project in the village with his own funds. For many years, due to high fluoride content in the groundwater in Semelgudia village, people were facing various bone and dental problems and health problems. While the villagers were repeatedly demanding a system of pure drinking water, MLA Gadatia took steps to provide a permanent solution to this. With his efforts and his own financial support, an RO plant with a capacity of two thousand liters per hour has been installed in the village. After the start of this project, the people of Semelgudia and the surrounding areas will also benefit. There is a wave of happiness among the villagers as they can now easily get clean drinking water. The elders and women of the village have especially welcomed the project, calling it a big step towards the health security of the village. MLA Gadatia said that solving the basic problems of the people is his first duty. He expressed his opinion that he will always strive to provide basic amenities like drinking water, education, roads and health care to every village. Local public representatives, social workers, youth and a large number of villagers were present at the inauguration program.
