Baghdali: Annual Urs Sharif Event Details Shared by Dr. Idris Ahmed Qadri

Baghdali: Dr. Idris Ahmed Qadri Baghdali held a press conference to share details about the annual three-day Urs Sharif of Hazrat Syedna Abdul Qadir Shah Wali Ganj Sawai Ganj Bakhsh Badshah Nagori. The event will begin on Saturday, May 16th, with the Sandal Sharif procession starting from Qadriya Manzil, Mohalla Garhi, following the old tradition. After Isha prayer, special rituals of Sandal Mali will be conducted under the supervision of Syed Muhammad Yusuf Sahib Qadri Nagori, attended by Ulema-e-Mashaikhin, disciples, and followers. A special Fatiha recitation will also take place to mark the 44th death anniversary of Pir and Murshid Hazrat Haj Syed Muhammad Hussain Alam Qadri Shatari Nagori.

On the same day, the "Faizan-e-Auliya" central gathering will feature addresses by renowned Mashaikhin scholars and performances by nationally recognized Qawwals delivering Naat, Manqabati, mystical, and Sufi poetry. On Sunday, May 17th, a Niyaz Sharif will be held in the name of Pir-e-Pir Hazrat Ghaus-ul-Azam Dastagir followed by Jashn-e-Chiraagan after Maghrib prayers. The day will conclude with a Jalsa Faizan-e-Auliya featuring speeches by scholars and religious leaders. The Urs Sharif will end on Monday, May 18th, with Khatam-e-Quran Majeed and Fateha Khwani after Fajr prayers. Preparations for the event were reviewed, and a large number of disciples, devotees, and the public were invited to participate.
