Bidar-Bengaluru Train Service Demand by Namma Karnataka Sena

Bidar: Namma Karnataka Sena's district unit president Ganesh Patil Jayanti has requested the Minister of State for Railways C. Somanna to run the Bidar-Bengaluru train via Kalaburagi on a daily basis. Currently, the train operates twice a week, but due to high passenger demand, especially for government work, meetings, and education, tickets are often unavailable even when booked a week in advance.

Ganesh Patil Jayanti emphasized the need for daily service to ease travel for the district's residents. He also highlighted that running the new Bidar-Hubballi train daily would benefit business, employment, and education across four to five districts. Additionally, the completion of pit line work near Khanapur in Bhalki taluk was requested to support increased train traffic to the district.
