BREAKING NEWS: Tension Erupts in Mussoorie After Alleged Assault on Nagar Palika Workers

Mussoorie witnessed high tension from late night till early morning after an alleged violent clash involving Nagar Palika workers and another local group.

According to the workers, they were attacked while on duty and one workers father was also allegedly manhandled while trying to intervene. Police complaints have reportedly been filed against several named individuals.

Workers further alleged that a large crowd gathered near the police station during the night, where threats and slogans claiming dominance over the town were allegedly raised.
By morning, heavy police deployment was seen near Jhoola Ghar as Nagar Palika karamcharis gathered demanding justice, arrests, and security. Ward members, the Executive Officer, and the Nagar Palika Adhyaksh were also present at the police station and reportedly assured strict action against any miscreants involved.

The incident has triggered serious concern over worker safety and rising tensions in the Queen of Hills.
