Kolkata to Host 5th Edition of World MSME Day in 2026
Kolkata, West Bengal: The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCC&I) has announced the 5th Edition of World MSME Day, scheduled for June 27, 2026. This event is Eastern India’s largest gathering for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, aiming to shift the sector from short-term support toward long-term structural growth.
The summit will serve as a high-impact networking platform, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, startups, financial institutions, exporters, and next-generation entrepreneurs. It will emphasize Indo-German, Indo-British, and Indo-African partnerships to help integrate Eastern India’s MSMEs into global value chains. Key focus areas include technology and sustainability topics such as AI, electric vehicles, green manufacturing, and digital transformation, alongside economic drivers like export growth and MSME financing, and human capital development through Skill 2.0 initiatives.
