Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 100 Days Campaign Successfully Conducted at HSS Hari

Poonch, May 13, 2026: In a firm and decisive step towards eradicating the drug menace from society, the District Administration Poonch, under the dynamic leadership and direction of **Sh. Ashok Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner Poonch, successfully organized the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 100 Days Campaign at Higher Secondary School Hari today.

The campaign was conducted under the guidance and strict directions of **Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan**, Chief Medical Officer Poonch, and under the close supervision of **Dr. Mohd Yousaf**, Block Medical Officer Surankote (NCD).

Speaking on the occasion, officers emphasized that the district administration will maintain zero tolerance against drug trafficking, peddling, and substance abuse. The 100 Days Campaign aims to create massive awareness, strengthen de-addiction support systems, and mobilize all stakeholders including students, teachers, parents, and community members in this decisive war against narcotics.

We are committed to building a healthier, drug-free Poonch. No effort will be spared in protecting our youth from this dangerous scourge, said the officials.

The programme included awareness sessions, interactive discussions, and commitments from participants to spread the message of a Nasha Mukt Bharat in their respective areas. The administration has warned that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in any form of drug-related activities.
