Rahoon Police Arrest Two Youths for Heroin Consumption

Rahoon: Rahoon police apprehended two youths caught consuming heroin near Bisat Duab Canal. SHO Chaudhary Varinder Kumar stated that while patrolling towards Gurnanakpura side, the police noticed two suspicious youths behaving oddly near the bushes on the left side after crossing the railway crossing. Upon searching, silver paper, a lighter, a crumpled 10-rupee note, and an empty water bottle were recovered.

The accused have been identified as Billa son of Nabi Bakhsh from Bhim Rao Ambedkar Nagar and Masoom Ali son of Farid Muhamad from Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Rahoon. The police have arrested both and started further investigations. SHO Chaudhary Varinder Kumar mentioned that the accused will be presented before the competent court to seek remand for further questioning. Other police personnel were also present during the operation.
