Calcutta Chamber of commerce to Host Seminar on Property Distribution and Succession planning

Kolkata: The Calcutta Chamber of Commerce will hold a special interactive seminar on May 15, 2026, focusing on "Distribution of Property Through Will, Succession, Trust etc." The event is organized under the leadership of Chamber President Anant Saharia along with members of the Executive Committee. The seminar aims to raise awareness among business owners, professionals, and the general public about legal and financial aspects of property distribution, succession planning, wills, and trust management.

Renowned legal expert Dr. Paras Kochar, Senior Lawyer, Author, and Tax Consultant, will be the Guest of Honour and keynote speaker. He is expected to discuss legal procedures concerning inheritance, taxation, family trusts, succession laws, and estate planning in India. The programme will take place at The Conclave (The Other Room), 216 AJC Bose Road, Kolkata, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and concluding with a tea session at 6:00 p.m. The Chamber anticipates participation from industrialists, chartered accountants, legal professionals, entrepreneurs, and business community members across Kolkata.
