Rourkela Excise Department Seizes Illicit Mahuli Liquor in Raid

Rourkela: Under the leadership of Excise Superintendent Shriyukt Dhaneshwar Barad, the Rourkela Excise Department conducted a raid on 12 shops across Chikatmati, Birda, Yodabhand, and Bhalulata areas. During the operation, officials seized 203 liters of illicit Mahuli liquor along with 43 liters of foreign Mahuli liquor.

Twelve claim cases have been registered, and twelve individuals, including Magdali Kispota, Rukmani Barla, Sushilla Kumbar, Kamala Kumbar, Ajay Oram, Pahana Oram, Pushpa Tirki, Mini Samasi, Rangabati Kumbar, Sharmila Oram, and Chumni Oram, were presented before the court. The enforcement team was led by Excise Inspector Shri Mohan Padhan, Inspector Hemanu Mahanandia, ASI Binodini Behera, Vidut Bhushan Dash, Alok Pradhan, and Yuvraj Bagh, along with several staff members.
