FAITH Urges Balanced Approach Following Modi's Foreign Travel Appeal

New Delhi: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to citizens to postpone foreign travel for a year, the tourism and hospitality industry body FAITH responded on Monday. FAITH emphasized that while Modi's appeal aims to control outbound travel, equal importance should be given to attracting more international tourists to India.

The Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism and Hospitality (FAITH) highlighted the need to boost inbound tourism to enhance foreign exchange earnings. The body stressed that a balanced approach is essential to support the economic growth of the tourism sector amid current challenges.
