Tariq Khanvisionary who migrated from journalism into education and philanthropy

There are few people in this world who have the ability to embrace anyone coming close to him in life..Tariq Khan was one of them.I never thought that I would write about Tariq Bhai after he left us suddenly today morning for his heavenly abode...A visionary who migrated from journalism into education and philanthropy.His zest for life and planning of activities defies his leaving us like this. Theatre in North India has lost a genuine activist, I have lost a genuine friend, philospher and guide.An optimist to the core, his Ben Hur School stands testimony to what a modest man with lofty vision can achieve. Theatre for him was a means to inculcate values and vision in education for students and parents that was integral part of BAFTA activities in and outside his school.He lived a full life...and may I say a few unfilled dreams that he would have realized in his lifetime had God been more concerned about Education and Theatre and not taken him away like this in a hurry...My heart reaches out to his immediate family and Afroz Bhabhi, Adeeba,Naved and Aleena who are also now part of my extended family. Benhur School staff who he nurtured with so much care and affection.now has this additional responsibility to carry his vision and legacy forward...
They don't make people like Tariq Khan anymore....I would miss him and his humour and laughs that we shared very often...A great personal loss for me and my family....RIP Tariq Khan....
