Six militants arrested in Manipur

IMPHAL: (May 12) Security forces arrested six militants, belonging to several proscribed outfits, from three districts of Manipur, police said on Tuesday.

Four members of the banned People's Liberation Army were held from the Nongada Chana area under the Lamlai Police Station limits in Imphal East district on Monday, a police statement said.

The militants allegedly held three youths for recruitment in the proscribed outfit, it said, adding that the victims were rescued.
