The prestigious Confederation of Indian Industry Annual Business Summit 2026 commenced in New Delhi with the theme Vision for India @ 100 The Future Global Economy, Industry & Society. The two-day summit has brought together leading industrialists, policymakers, economists, entrepreneurs, and global thought leaders to discuss Indias roadmap towards becoming a developed nation by 2047.
The summit focuses on critical areas including economic transformation, industrial innovation, digital growth, sustainability, global partnerships, manufacturing excellence, and social development. Delegates from across India and several international organizations are participating in high-level discussions and strategic sessions aimed at shaping the future of Indias economy and society.
A major highlight of the opening day on Monday, 11 May 2026, is the Special Plenary Session scheduled from 17:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs, featuring Yogi Adityanath, Honble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
During the plenary session, the Chief Minister is share his vision on industrial growth, investment opportunities, infrastructure development, employment generation, and the role of Uttar Pradesh in Indias journey towards becoming a global economic powerhouse.
Business leaders and industry experts attending the summit emphasized that India stands at a historic turning point, with strong economic momentum, rapid technological advancement, and increasing global influence. The summit is expected to produce key recommendations and collaborative strategies that will contribute to Indias long-term growth vision.
