Minor gang-raped in Ayodhya, 2 detained

AYODHYA (PTI): (May 10) An 11-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped during a village function Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, police said.

Two men, in their mid-20s, have been detained in connection with the incident that occurred on Thursday, they said.

According to a complaint filed by the survivor's father, the girl had gone to a water counter outside the function venue around 8 pm when two persons on a scooter kidnapped her at knife-point.
