Kiran Shekhawat: First On-Duty Female Officer Martyred in India

Mevat: Kiran Shekhawat, the daughter-in-law of Kurthala village in Mevat, was India’s first female officer to be martyred while on duty. She attained martyrdom in 2015 at the young age of 27.

Her sacrifice is deeply honored and remembered with respect and heartfelt tribute by many. The people vow that the sacrifice of this daughter of India will not be in vain.
