Mewat Farmers' Protest Leaders Discuss Future Strategy in Dhirdoka Village
Mewat: A panchayat was held in Dhirdoka village at the indefinite protest site that has been ongoing for 26 months to plan the next steps in the farmers' movement. Leaders of the Joint Kisan Morcha along with Nuh MLA Aftab Ahmed attended the meeting. MLA Ahmed engaged in discussions with Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh and informed him about the issue, urging a resolution. Rao Narbir Singh has called the protest committee to his office in Gurugram at 11 AM the following day.
The panchayat emphasized the importance of unity among leaders, including Aftab Ahmed and Zakir Hussain, setting aside past differences for the sake of resolving the matter. It was expressed that if both the former and current MLAs sincerely work towards a solution, the issue can be resolved without difficulty.
