Bhagalpur Administration Plans Alternative Scaffold Bridge on Vikramshila Setu

Bhagalpur: Following damage to the vital Vikramshila Setu, the administration has devised a major master plan to relieve residents from severe traffic congestion. A high-level meeting chaired by District Magistrate Dr. Naval Kishore Chaudhary and SSP Pramod Kumar Yadav resolved to construct an alternative scaffold bridge over the existing setu.

The new one-way bridge, approximately 3.5 meters wide, will be dedicated to the smooth movement of light vehicles. A special traffic regulation team will be deployed to ensure safety. This swift administrative action aims to provide safe travel options and protect commuters from economic exploitation through alternative routes, ultimately reducing traffic pressure in Bhagalpur.
