The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Centenary Gate

The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Centenary Gate was inaugurated on October 17, 2020. It was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the university and serves as a, grand entrance at the Purani Chungi, replacing an older gate. The gate, built with red sandstone and designed in a style similar to the Bab-e-Syed gate, was virtually inaugurated by the university chancellor, Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.
