New Airtel Tower Fails to Deliver High-Speed Internet in Lohai Malhar:

New Airtel Tower Fails to Deliver High-Speed Internet in Lohai Malhar:
Lohai Malhar residents are facing severe internet connectivity issues even after the recent installation of a new Airtel mobile tower in the area. Instead of improving digital communication and online services, locals say that the network situation remains unsatisfactory, causing inconvenience in day-to-day activities.
According to local residents, internet speed in many parts of Lohai Malhar remains extremely slow and unstable. People complain that basic online tasks such as digital payments, UPI transactions, online classes, video calls, downloading documents, and accessing government services are frequently interrupted due to weak internet connectivity.
Shopkeepers and small business owners are among the worst affected. Many traders stated that online payment systems often stop working during business hours, forcing customers to pay in cash. This has created serious problems, especially in remote areas where digital transactions have become a common mode of payment.
Students preparing for competitive examinations and attending online educational classes are also facing difficulties. Many students reported that buffering, call disconnections, and poor network coverage are affecting their studies and access to educational content.
Locals expressed disappointment that despite the installation of the new tower, expected high-speed 4G internet services have not reached the area effectively. Residents believe that either the tower is not functioning at full capacity or technical issues are limiting network performance.
Several residents have appealed to Airtel authorities and the concerned telecom department to immediately inspect the network infrastructure and resolve the issue at the earliest. They demanded stable high-speed internet services so that people in rural areas can benefit from digital facilities without interruption.
The issue has once again highlighted the digital connectivity challenges faced by remote hilly regions of Kathua, where reliable internet has become an essential requirement for education, business, healthcare, communication, and online government services.
Residents now hope that the telecom authorities will take prompt action to improve connectivity and ensure uninterrupted internet services in Lohai Malhar.
