Asit Yadav Appointed DIG of Gwalior Range

Madhya Pradesh: In a significant administrative reshuffle, Asit Yadav, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Bhind district, has been promoted and appointed as the new Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Gwalior Range. Concurrently, Suraj Kumar Verma, who was serving as SP in Datia, has been assigned as the new SP of Bhind district. These changes were formalized through government orders issued late at night and are considered important from an administrative perspective.

Asit Yadav took charge as SP of Bhind in October 2023. During his nearly two and a half years tenure, he strengthened law and order in the district and took strict action against several major criminals. Following his promotion, Suraj Kumar Verma will now be responsible for maintaining and improving law and order in Bhind district.
