Nasha Mukt Bharat" Awareness Camp Organized at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Jaganoo
**JAGANOO (UDHAMPUR):*
The **Irrigation Division Udhampur** organized a special awareness camp today at **Government Higher Secondary School, Jaganoo**, under the **"Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan"** (Drug-Free India Campaign). **Shri Ashok Gupta** (Accounts Officer) along with other members of the Irrigation Division participated in the event.
Shri Ashok Gupta (Irrigation Division) highlighted the devastating effects of drug abuse. He explained that addiction not only damages physical health but also destroys an individual socially and mentally. He advised the youth to stay strictly away from such substances.
Tariq Shah (Irrigation Division) Emphasizing the role of students, Tariq Shah stated, "Children are the real messengers of society; they possess the insight to understand this evil and the capability to catch its spread."He noted that the vigilance of children is key to making society drug-free.Students Students Khushi and Anoop also shared their views against drug addiction. In their speeches, they remarked that drugs turn a bright future into darkness and urged their peers to stay focused on their studies.
The event was attended by Irrigation Division members Pawan Kumar, Sumit Sharma, Ali Saqlain and Shastri Ji. These members, alongside the school faculty, guided the students throughout the session.The program concluded with the School Principal Sh Pawan Kumar staff, and all members of the Irrigation Division taking a collective pledge with the students to make the nation drug-free.
