There is a possibility Of Riots Breaking Out In Tamil Nadu. The Union Ministry Of Home Affairs Has Issued key directives

New Delhi, May 7, AIMA Media Update News : In light of the prevailing political uncertainty and tensions in Tamil Nadu, the Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued crucial warnings. Given that no single party secured sufficient strength to form a government in the recently concluded Assembly elections, and as political conditions in the state are evolving rapidly, the Centre has warned of the potential for civil unrest. The Centre has issued clear directives to the State Government and the police machinery to uphold law and order. The Union Home Ministry further stated that central intelligence agencies are closely monitoring the situation on a continuous basis.

TVK Chief Vijay, who was poised to form the government, received a setback from Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. During a meeting with the Governor at Lok Bhavan, Vijay was reminded of the clear constitutional stipulations regarding the required numerical strength. The Governor made it explicit that permission to form a government could not be granted without a sufficient majority. Consequently, the political suspense in Tamil Nadu has intensified further.

The "magic figure" the minimum number of seats required to form a government in Tamil Nadu stands at 118. However, according to current political equations, the TVK's strength stands at 107 seats. Since Vijay won from two constituencies, he is required to resign from one seat; therefore, the TVK's effective strength currently remains at 107. The Congress party, which is extending its support, holds 5 seats. This brings the combined strength to a total of 112 seats. Consequently, Vijay's party requires the support of an additional 6 MLAs. It is precisely because this majority was lacking that the Governor did not give the green signal for the formation of the government. As a result, a state of political uncertainty has emerged in Tamil Nadu.
