Deepak Mittal Honours National Bowling Champions at Asha Kiran Special School

Deepak Mittal, Managing Director of Sonalika Group, said that serving special children is akin to serving God, as he attended a felicitation ceremony at J.S.S. Asha Kiran Special School, where national bowling championship winners were honoured. He also announced a grant of Rs 5 lakh to the school.
At the event, Mittal toured the school, visited different classrooms, and observed the activities being carried out by the children. He praised the work of Ashadeep Welfare Society, saying it is doing commendable work for the development of special children.
Paramjit Singh Sachdeva, patron of Ashadeep Welfare Society, welcomed the chief guest and expressed gratitude to the Sonalika Group for providing the bowling ground. School Principal Shelley Sharma thanked Mittal for his support, noting that the group has not only extended financial help but also provided employment opportunities to the children.
The school also announced the names of the winners from the National Bowling Championship held in Delhi. Kartik won a gold medal, Sandeep Sahu secured gold in the junior group, Tanisha Kumari won gold in the senior group, and Aarushi finished third in the sub-junior category.
The selected players will represent India at the international bowling competition scheduled to be held in Hong Kong from September 4 to 9, 2026.
