Madhya Pradesh Woman Gives Birth To Quadruplets In A Single Delivery
Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh, May 6, AIMA Media Update News : In the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, a woman gave birth to quadruplets four babies in a single delivery during her very first pregnancy. The four children were born one after another within a span of one hour. Among them, two are boys and two are girls. The delivery took place at the Sheopur District Government Hospital. Doctors have stated that both the mother and the babies are currently safe and doing well.
The quadruplets were born to the couple Pooja and Hukum Suman, residents of Berupura village in the Veerpur Tehsil of Sheopur district. However, prior to the delivery, the couple was gripped by intense anxiety. This was because Pooja had not yet completed even seven full months of pregnancy. They were deeply worried when labor pains began prematurely, before the full term was reached. They feared whether the babies would survive if they were born before completing the full nine months of gestation.
Fortunately, their fears did not materialize. All four babies are safe and sound. Each baby weighs approximately one kilogram. Civil Surgeon Dr. R.B. Goyal confirmed that both the mother and the babies are in good health. He revealed that Pooja Suman delivered the babies in the early hours of the morning on the 4th of this month. He added that a specialized medical team is currently keeping the infants under constant observation. Doctors stated that while a Caesarean section is typically performed when this many babies are present in the womb, Pooja delivered via a normal delivery.
Doctors at the Sheopur District Hospital noted that each baby weighed only about one kilogram significantly less than the normal birth weight. Consequently, they explained that the infants are being kept under special care and observation. Meanwhile, Hukum Suman, the father of the children, expressed his reaction to the birth of four babies in a single delivery, joyfully declaring it a divine blessing.
