The SAMARTH Admission Portal is the mandatory unified platform for all undergraduate (UG) admissions in Assam for the 20262027 academic session. It covers Four-Year Undergraduate Programmes (FYUGP) and Five-Year Integrated Masters Programmes (FYIMP).

## Application Process
The process is divided into two distinct phases:

1. Phase 1 (Profile Completion): Register and enter personal/educational details.
2. Phase 2 (Selection): Choose up to 10 colleges/programmes after Class 12 results are declared.

Steps to Apply:

* Register using details exactly as they appear on your Class 10 Marksheet.
* Upload required documents (Photos, Marksheets, Certificates, Bank Passbook).
* Submit the form and download the Acknowledgement Receipt.

## Important Features

* Fee Waiver Scheme: Eligible poor students can avail of tuition fee waivers, but only if they apply through the SAMARTH portal.
* Scope: Includes all Government, Private, Provincialized, and Model colleges, as well as State Universities in Assam.
* Merit-Based: Admissions are granted based on merit lists published by the individual institutions.
