Joint Operations in Manipur Result in Arms Recovery and Arrests

Manipur: Intelligence-based joint operations conducted from 26 April 2026 to 02 May 2026 by the Indian Army and Assam Rifles under Spear Corps, in coordination with Manipur Police, targeted the hill and valley districts of Kakching, Chandel, Churachandpur, Pherzawl, and Tengnoupal.

These coordinated efforts led to the apprehension of two cadres and the recovery of 30 weapons, explosives, and other war-like stores, enhancing security measures in the region.
