2-Year-Old Rescued After Drowning in Jhelum at Parimpora
Srinagar: A two-year-old child was rescued after a drowning incident in the Jhelum River near the Parimpora area of Srinagar on Monday. The child, a resident of Fruit Mandi Parimpora, accidentally fell into the river near a footbridge and was later rescued by a local resident.
Officials reported that the child was rescued alive and immediately shifted to Children Hospital Bemina, where his condition remains serious. Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation has been initiated.
