Patna Man Buddhu Munda Commits Suicide by Hanging

Patna: Buddhu Munda, a 43-year-old resident of Kumulabahali village under Palanghati Panchayat in Patna block, was found dead by hanging from a tree behind his house last night. Buddhu Munda had been living at home for a few months after being released from jail where he served over 10 years for involvement in two murder cases.

Villagers stated that Buddhu Munda was unmarried and appeared to be under mental stress but did not share his thoughts with anyone. Upon receiving the news, ASI Byasdev Mirdha of Ghatgaon police station registered an unnatural death case number 23/2026. The deceased's body was sent for postmortem in Patna and later handed over to his family, according to reporter Vijay Ratna Pati.
