Baisakh Mela Bishwashanti Mahajagyna Punnahuti at Sri Sri Nrushinghanath Peetha 12,500 Ahuti along with 125,000 Bija Mantra japa

Baisakh Mela Bishwashanti Mahajagyna Purnahuti at Sri Sri Nrushinghanath Peetha at the foot of the historic Gandhamardan Hill, the famous holy place of Odisha, was held over 5 days with 12,500 ahuti along with 125,000 Bija Mantra chanting. On the last day, Lord Nrushinghanath was circumambulated around the temple like a vision. Finally, the Purnahuti Homa, Bhog Alati and Puspanjali were offered. The Mahajagyna was completed with Shanti Srankhla by 13 skilled Pandits including the Devas of the Pandit Digridhar Debta . Locals immersed the Kalash at the Ganesh Ghat at the Nrusinghanath Papaharini fountain. On the last day of the Mahaprabhu Shri Shri Marjar Keshari Janmotsab, lakhs of devotees and tourists took a dip in the Chaldhara fountain. Lakhs of devotees gathered on this occasion. Many devotees and tourists from the neighboring state of Chhattisgarh, Nuapada, Balangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur districts took their dip. Thousands of devotees also went to Harishankar Peeth by climbing the Nrusinghanath hill. From Harishankar Peeth, they climb the hill to Nrusinghanath Peeth and return after visiting Prabhu Marjar Keshari. People were seen in large numbers in the market. The committee members of the Baisakh Mela performed their duties for the local administration. The closing ceremony was presided over by Padmapur Subcollector Hemsagar Bhoi and was graced by the guests of honour, including Tokhan Sahu, Minister of State, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit, former MP Chunnilal Sahu, Bargarh District Special Development Chairman Govardhan Bhue, Bargarh District Magistrate Aditya Goyal, Bargarh SP Prahallad Shahaya Meena, Nrusinghnath Temple Executive Officer Purushottam Pradhan . The programme was conducted by Professor Sushant Mishra. On this occasion, eminent playwright and director Ashok Bohidar, temple servant Shankar Bhoi, Kandha Samaj representative Aniruddha Mallick, senior temple servant Narasingh Hota and eminent columnist and researcher Sushant Mishra were felicitated. Nrusinghanatha Temple Interim Trustee and Paikmal ABDO Officer Debashish Sinha gave the vote of thanks. The cultural stage of the last evening started with the worship of Mahaprabhu. In the last day of the Baisakh Mela, in the cultural program at Hanuman Batika Podia, Nuni Nu Bhuasen Tankia Sangeet Bidyalaya Padmapur, Tribal Dance, West Odisha Dance Academy, Bhawanipatna, Sambalpuri Dance Pachma Balangir, Demsa Gayatri Kala Sangashthan, Chutukuchuta Bodhan Cultural Institute Tora participated, while folk dance Shri Shri Nrusingh Charit was performed at Musik Daitya Darbar. Similarly, on the Vindhyavasini stage, Jai Jagannath Maandya Pala Party Temeri, KGVP Mandosil, Nilamadhav Sankirtan Sangham, Kokanara Dal participated and performed dances. Later, the final scene of Shri Shri Nrusingha Charita and the battle of the mouse demon, Kipri, remained in the cave of the mountain to hide himself and Lord Shri Hari Bishnu was established in the form of Marjarkeshari to destroy the demon. The audience enjoyed this captivating cultural evening with joy. The audience was inaugurated by Badha Satapathi, Binod Kalia, Kusum Rao, Surtha Sahu, Duryodhan Putta, Tile Chandra Bhoi, Lalit Jagat. Dhiren Mohanty, Somesh Mohanty, Raj Kishore Sahu, temple servant Subodh Panda, Bishnu Charan Pasayat, temple volunteer Girish Nayak, Matruprasad Rath, Jaki Saraf, Krishna Chandra Sahu, Sanjiv Majhi, Chittaranjan Saraf, Debendra Sahu, Duryodhan Tripathi, Prashant Mishra, Jayadev Matari, Digridhar Sahu, all the cultural programs were organized by the members of the fair committee.
