Mira Barthakur Alleges BJP Bid to Demoralise Workers Ahead of Results Day

Assam Mahila Congress President Mira Barthakur, addressing a press conference at Rajiv Bhawan in Nagaon, claimed that the BJP may attempt to create an atmosphere to demotivate Congress polling agents and candidates on May 4, when election results are scheduled to be announced. Urging party workers to remain steadfast, she expressed confidence that the Congress would form the government in Assam under the leadership of Gaurav Gogoi.
