Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended the swearing-in ceremony of Minority Welfare Minister Mohammad Azharuddin and Professor Kodandaram as Members of the Legislative Council. Nominated as MLCs under the Governor's quota, Mohammad Azharuddin and Professor Kodandaram took oath in the chamber of Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, who administered the oath.

Along with the Chief Minister, Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Dr. Vivek Venkataswamy, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash, MP Vem Narender Reddy, Government Whips, MLC and PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, along with several MLCs and MLAs, attended the ceremony.
