Police Station Loran Conducts Anti-Drug Awareness Programme at Yaseen English Academy #Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan

Continuing its sustained efforts against drug abuse under the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan”, Police Station Loran organized an anti-drug awareness programme at Yaseen English Academy School, Loran.

The programme witnessed active participation from approximately 250–300 students and staff members. The initiative aimed to sensitize the youth and general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promote a drug-free society.

During the session, participants were educated about the physical, psychological, and social consequences of substance abuse, along with the legal implications associated with narcotics-related offences. Emphasis was laid on preventive measures such as resisting peer pressure, making informed life choices, and adopting a healthy and disciplined lifestyle.

Students were encouraged to spread awareness among their peers and act as responsible citizens in the fight against the drug menace.

The programme was conducted successfully and served as an effective step towards strengthening community awareness and public engagement against drug abuse.

District Police Poonch reiterates its firm commitment to eradicating the menace of drugs and urges all sections of society, especially the youth, to actively support this mission.
