Rajouri Police Arrest Two Drug Peddlers; 350 Grams of Charas Like Narcotic Substance Recovered at Lamberi

Continuing its firm action against drug trafficking under the ongoing anti narcotics drive, Nowshera Police achieved a significant success by apprehending two drug peddlers during routine checking. During naka checking at Lamberi on NHW-144A a Baleno vehicle bearing Registration No JK11F 9199 was intercepted. During search two Accused identified as:

1. Irfan Sadiq S/O Sadiq Hussain R/O Nowshera

2. Krishna Bhasin S/O Raman Bhasin R/O Nowshera were found travelling in the said vehicle. On thorough checking, approx 350 grams of Charas was recovered from their possession.Both accused were arrested on the spot and the contraband was seized as per procedure.

In this regard a Case FIR No. 74/2026 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Nowshera, and further investigation is underway.

Police have reiterated their commitment to eradicating the menace of drugs from society and have urged the public to cooperate and share any information related to drug trafficking.
