Five Villages Submit Objection Petition to Collector Against Court Notice Issued by AM/NS India Pvt. Ltd.

Affected residents of Pablipuda, Banguru Colony, Lambasing, Anjariaguda, and Bangurupada villages under Chitrakonda Zone-2 in Malkangiri district, Odisha, have submitted an objection petition to the Collector against Court Notice No. 449/2026 issued by AM/NS India Pvt. Ltd., demanding compensation, employment, and basic facilities.
According to the villagers, they were not satisfied with the compensation previously provided by S.R. Company. They alleged that although the company had stated that only 2.5 meters of land would be taken, it now intends to mark and work on 20 meters of land, which may affect more land and deprive villagers of proper compensation.
In the objection petition, the villagers demanded that AM/NS India Pvt. Ltd. provide monthly compensation during the continuation of the work, or alternatively grant a lump-sum compensation amount. They also demanded employment opportunities for educated youths from affected families and development of health and education facilities in the affected villages.
The petition was submitted on behalf of Dambaru Sisa, Lakinath Pangi, Ghenu Muduli, Bhaktaram Sisa, Hari Golari, and other villagers. The villagers have requested the Collector’s intervention to resolve the issue through discussions in the Gram Sabha with government mediation.
