Crackdown continues- Jammu Police Headquarters Zone in Bishnah Busts Illicit Liquor Unit; 700 litres illicit liquor Destroyed, Accused Booked

Continuing its drive against illegal liquor trade, Bishnah Police conducted a raid at Waziru Chak area and unearthed an illicit liquor setup.

During the raid, police recovered approximately 700 litres of lahan (raw material used for distillation) and 10 litres of desi liquor from the spot. The entire quantity of lahan was destroyed on the spot as per legal procedure.

The accused has been identified as Ayudya Devi Wd/o Bachu Sansi R/o Joyian, Bishnah, who was found involved in the illegal activity.

A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bishnah, and further investigation is underway.

Police have reiterated their commitment to curb the menace of illicit liquor and appealed to the general public to share information regarding such unlawful activities.
