Poonch Police Reaches Out to Young Minds with Anti-Drug Awareness Drive #Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan

Continuing its sustained campaign against drug abuse under the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan”, Police Station Surankote organized a Nasha Mukti Awareness Programme at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), Surankote.
During the programme, officers from District Police Poonch, along with lady police officials, delivered an informative session highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. The session focused on creating awareness among young students about the social, psychological, and legal consequences associated with substance abuse.
Approximately 100 girl students actively participated in the programme, reflecting strong engagement and enthusiasm. The Principal, Ms. Rubia Chib, was also present on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Police for conducting such a meaningful and impactful awareness initiative.
District Police Poonch remains committed to spreading awareness and empowering the youth to build a drug-free society and urges the public to actively support this mission.
