Udhampur

: The IGP Jammu Zone conducted a comprehensive interaction with officers during his visit to Udhampur district this week.

The meeting was attended by the DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, SSP Udhampur, and other senior officers of J&K Police and CAPF. During the interaction, the IGP reviewed the operational preparedness and administrative matters of the district in detail.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of alertness, strengthening inter-agency coordination, and ensuring effective law and order management. Directions were also issued to enhance policing efficiency and ensure prompt response to emerging challenges.

The officers briefed the IGP on the current security scenario and ongoing initiatives in the district. The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment towards ensuring peace, safety, and security in the region.
