Vice President Radhakrishnan to undertake 2-day visit to Sri Lanka

NEW DELHI: (Apr 17) Vice President C P Radhakrishnan will undertake a two-day visit to Sri Lanka beginning Sunday as part of India's efforts to further shore up ties with the island nation.

In Colombo, Radhakrishnan will meet Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Disanayaka, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya and other senior leaders.

"This will be the first bilateral visit by the Vice President of India to Sri Lanka," the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said, announcing the trip
