Road improvement work begins at Kanpuri
The picture of rural development is gradually changing. A clear example of this is seen in the Bijepur area of Bargarh district. The Rural Development Department has laid the foundation stone of a 4 km long road improvement work from Badipali to K. Nuapali Via Kanpuri. Bijepur MLA Sanat Kumar Gadatiya inaugurated the foundation stone laying program. He said that road connectivity is very important for the overall development of the region, and if this road is built, the villagers will get rid of their long-standing problems.
The construction of this road will be completed within 9 months, informed the departmental officer Madhusudan Chowdhury. He said that all efforts will be made to complete the work on time.
If this road is built, the people of Badipali, Kanpuri K. Nuapali, Talpadar, Mundomahul areas will get easy transportation facilities. Along with this, it is expected that facilities in the education, medical and business sectors will also increase. While the local people have welcomed this development work, they have expressed hope that the work will be completed on time and with quality.
