Young Woman Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Guwahati Rented House

Guwahati, Assam: In a shocking incident, the body of a young woman was recovered under mysterious circumstances from a rented house in Guwahati.

The incident took place at House No. 23, Juroni Path, located on Zoo Road. According to reports, the room of the woman had remained locked for the past three days. The matter came to light after a foul smell began emanating from the room, prompting the house owner to inform the Geetanagar Police.

Upon receiving the information, police personnel reached the spot, broke open the door, and recovered the body. The deceased has been sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem examination.

The deceased has been identified as Farhana Sultana from Sarbhog, Medha. She was reportedly a research scholar in psychology.

Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of death.
