She graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Avinash Rai Khanna attended as the Guest of Honour.
On her arrival, she was warmly welcomed with a floral bouquet. A special function was organized in her honour, during which Miss Aash Marwaha presented 7 sets of ladies suits to Amandeep Kaur. The prize was instituted by Tek Chand Sud Charitable Trust in recognition of her outstanding achievement of winning a Gold Medal in the National Hockey Championship held in Faridabad. Cash prizes of Rs. 3000 and 2000 were also given to Principal Sh. Pawan Kumar and Special Teacher Mrs. Sapna respectively.
